Today's post is about my visit to Hampstead Heath yesterday, which will include an 'outfit of the day', a little show of the place, and a small bit about the watch I received from Kapten & Son a couple of days ago.
I'm in my last week of college, which is a huge relief. I am so glad that summer holidays are finally about to start! But that's not the end, I have been accepted to 2 UAL summer courses, which run from 29th June till 17th July. The first week I start next Monday, at the London College of Communication. This is a week of photography, which I believe will be something similar to what I have done at the London College of Fashion, except it should be outdoors as well as indoors, either way I'm excited! The following 2 weeks will be at the London College of Fashion (LCF) in Hackney. This is a drawing summer uni, which consists of two weeks of intense drawing, giving me an opportunity to develop my drawing and illustration skills, as well as receiving a UAL Drawing Award L3 after completing the course.
Lets begin with the trip to Hampstead Heath. It was my first time at this park, which is huge and absolutely beautiful. I have never seen such amazing views in London, as standing on top of the Parliament Hill, you get to see many of the famous and tall buildings located in Central London.
My friend and I have explored the park a little whilst the rest stayed in one spot for a while. We found a big field of white flowers that you could drown in, and it was probably my favourite spot in this part of the park.
After exploring a little more, we found a couple of nice lakes, ponds and areas that are perfect places for a summer picnic with friends, family or your loved ones.
We walked through the whole park all the way to the other side. It made my whole body ache, and I honestly have no idea how I made it. After looking on the health application on my iPhone, I discovered that on that day, I walked/ran 13km. No wonder I felt dead.
Here are some of the photos that I managed to get from the day thanks to my friend Victoria;
Photograph below features the beautiful watch I received from Kapten & Son a few days ago. It is a German company that makes amazing quality watches. I would say its a DIY (do it yourself) option as you practically create your own watch, by choosing the size of the watch itself, the colour inside, and the type of strap you want. They have a variety of colours to choose from for your strap from a currently limited canvas edition, to the one I am wearing in the photo, as well as leather. They are roughly £100, depending on the choices you make, but definitely worth the price.
