Germany!

Hey guys!

I'm finally back! Although it would have been nice to stay a few days longer as the weather was beautiful and I had a chance to relax. But I still have a month of vacation ahead! I had an amazing time in Germany. I visited my family in a place nearby Mannheim, where I was practically raised as I visited so much as a child. I tried to make the best out of every day as it was really sunny so an opportunity to tan as its impossible to tan in the UK even in summer, the weather is unpredictable. I had a morning flight and wore shorts and a crop top because it was really hot in Germany. Arriving here I was soaked and cold getting off the plane. Great!

The week itself was great. On my first day there we went to a little German festival, which was really fun! The music was great and people were so lovely! For anyone travelling to the country during summer I insist on taking a spray for bugs as I had 28 mosquito bites within the first 3 days. Luckily I stayed at my aunts house where I had access to everything I needed.

During the week I walked at least 30km and went cycling a couple of times which was great fun and definitely a great workout too! It was way too hot for walking that much but I had no choice. On Wednesday it was around 38 degrees so we took the bikes out and went to a small 'beach' where we could cool off in the water and lay in the sun as much as we'd like.

I really enjoyed visiting the Outlet Gallery in Zweibrucken. They have amazing stores and huge sales especially during the summer until it all runs out. Me being me, I went all out and spent nearly all my money in Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger and Abercrombie & Fitch, but I bought nice clothes which I am hoping to show and style in one of my next posts so be on a look out! As well as the shopping, we went to a place I visited as a little girl, when I was about 3 years old. The place is still beautiful as on the old photographs. It was great to pass by.
